HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO FIJI? 2021

In the isolation of the quarantine, I shared photos from a holiday, tagging Fiji Island as if I was on vacation there. From the images posted in the online space, a hypothetical reality was created for the viewer. Inspired by that, I created an installation in a real exhibition space. This work consists a photo in a lightbox which was posted on Instagram, a QR code that links to the real post and a light tent in which there is a 3D model from the the photo. Was the photo made based on the model, or the other way around? Where is the line between memory, reality and imagination?
